Had warnings appear that my power was reduced and OK to drive. Scheduled service immediately and brought my LR AWD into Vancouver SC today. I received a call from them that rodents have damaged some wiring, but won’t know more until Monday.

How do you schedule mobile service on the island? When I try in the app it wants me to schedule at Vancouver SC at the earliest July 17th. My steering wheel has developed an annoying squeak :(

The cellular connection so the DMV can track, log and sell your data to 3rd parties. They can also put the word “stolen” on the plate remotely.

On my iPhone it seems I have resolved my issue by adding the Tesla Widget. Since I’ve added the widget I’ve had a 100% success rate with the phone key.

I wonder if it’s cheaper for Tesla to roam with the US AT&T SIM, since Canadian cellular providers for data are some of the most expensive in the world.

I get better coverage on my iPhone with a Virgin SIM (Bell Network) than the Tesla does. So either AT&T doesn’t have a roaming agreement with Bell, or the RF hardware is worse than an iPhone.

It would be great if they switched to a native Canadian carrier. Unfortunately there probably isn’t a singular choice like ATT in the US that would provide the best coverage across the country. It would be ideal if we could have a choice of which carrier to use, but that’s probably highly unlikely.

I’ve had my M3 since Sunday, and an iPhone XS Max. It worked perfectly for the first few days, but now I have to pull the phone out of my pocket and hold it closer to the car for it to work. It’s driving me crazy :) I keep my phone in front left pocket so it’s not a back pocket issue.

I’m not sure why it would violate the law. The nomad sits in place of the rubber pad where phones are designed to sit in the model 3. The cover can be closed over the phones as well after they’re placed on the charger.

Just got my delivery date set for June 9th. They sent an email to confirm the date, the total due and bank draft details. The account manage page now shows the VIN and updated delivery date. Blue/white LR AWD.

No, the battery is smaller in the SR. I suppose in theory the battery could be replaced with a larger one, but that would negate the rebate. I'm not sure, but the motors may be physically different as well.

I think I would prefer rail, as an open car carrier will catch a lot of flying road debris from other vehicles. Train vibration is probably harmless to a vehicle. I was more wondering if they move by rail because they could move a greater volume of Tesla’s up here in short order.

Just talked to someone on the 888 number to see if we could get an idea if our vehicle is en route. She said Vancouver is selling more M3s than anywhere else in North America and they have a shortage of trucks to move them.

I would also like to know this. Anyone getting their car sooner than the initial estimated date? Got a VIN and tentative delivery date of June 12th at Vancouver Powell yesterday. No MVPA. Need to plan our trip from the island and clear work schedules for the big day.

I have garage door tilt sensors tied into my alarm system that knows the status of the door. It would be nice if Tesla could integrate with it.

It looks like mine is a “federal pioneer”, which is related to federal pacific but made in Canada by Schneider. They’re supposedly equally as junky as federal pacific.

I now faintly see stab-lok at the bottom of the middle sticker. This means it’s a federal pacific panel, doesn’t it?

This is my current panel. I’m not sure what brand it is. Hopefully not a fire hazard one!
