@ay221tried it in automode tonight, think it was better but mid way felt a little cold air but still toasty in the car. My setting was 80. I went from 5 to 3 fan when the ride was over.

I noticed this the other day in my car. Set up the temperature to 80 then I felt cold air. So decided to bump it to HI and started to get warm again. Not sure if its faulty cause Tesla did replace something a while back during my service center visit.

@crom! yes, but as of now no matrix capability on road. only christmas light show that spells out tesla.

We need to ask @greentheonly on Twitter, if i'm not mistaken he/she was the one that told a user about the headlamp change configuration 28. Maybe Tesla HQ saw people were trying and possibly blocked it now.

Don't listen to your service center lol. What a joke. Anyways what I learned over the year retrofit is possible! The whole its not going to fit or different wiring is BS, it fits and some people on this forum was able to get it to work. But you need to have a inside connection at Tesla to update...

@GoPowerup keep us updated. my service center last time I asked said no to retrofit.

If you buy the new global headlights your car won't recognize the light and will not turn on since your car came with premium headlights from factory. But good news is that retrofit is possible, some people on this forum was able to make it work with connection and luck with Tesla. But its just...

I forgot which update it was but ever since then having this issue. Service center installed the "O-Ring" awhile back but it was working fine without it. Hopefully its just software issue.

Good luck people! Off topic since it's a Model S thread but tried to retrofit my refresh model 3 headlights (arrived with old headlights) everything connects but car wont recognize new lights. Asked my local service center if they can push software but no dice. Cheers to retrofit one day.

I was told by my service center connectors are different at the time when I asked.

If you are getting a September/October 20 build, it will not have it. New headlights were added sometimes around mid/late December 2020. I have a 2021 with old headlights.

So Tesla China just announced retrofit on older Model 3 trunk power tailgate. In the promo video it shows an old chrome model 3 with new global headlights, seems possible.

@WhiteM3P- Thanks for the cool update! Man your service center rocks, whenever I ask my local service center they tell me to kick rocks. Also what year is your Model 3 btw? Did you get your global headlights at service center?

@airreal if you still can't confirm an appointment, I suggest going to the local service center and see if they take walk ins. Then from there explain your concern and it should be covered since its a brand new car. Hope that helps.

What would you guys do? Currently have a mid December 20 built M3P missing new headlights, heat wheel, etc. Vroom is offering pretty much what I paid . Would you guys sell to get a few upgrade? I do get fomo on all the new stuff you guys got, i know its not good lol
