I’m glad you were able to order it, but I will say that they didn’t produce it since April until the past weekend. Based on reporting I don’t think they’ll do anymore. If you don’t get matched in a couple days, be prepared. That being said, they still overproduce a bit so you can most likely...

That email was the same that I posted a while back that was sent out to European leasing companies. This was out before most of us had ours produced so it was just letting the rest of the world they aren’t making more. But for us that meant after this batch.

Based on the waves of VINs it was all about what was being produced. Friday looked like 19" wheels with spread of colors, Saturday 18". For some reason the white ext / black int seems to be a variant they didn't produce yet (hopefully).

Wow. First day without looking at this thread for more than 4 hours, the weight is finally lifted! Scheduled for 10 am 6/18 at Costa Mesa!

Keep the confirmations coming everyone on here will be getting their car soon! Also don't forget, now that we have our VINs you can start applying for certain incentives and look for insurance. Those in California, get those rebate applications in so you can get your money when they get more!

Yeah based on what was matched and released to inventory yesterday we can only hope that the same thing will happen with more cars tonight/tomorrow. Man it's been a SLOW day today.

Oh gotcha. When you said they hooked you up to delivery in local area, I thought that meant you got a date or something. I talked to my SC and the adivser there was able to schedule a "temporary" delievery date in hopes it'll come before then, so I thought something similar happened.

So were they able to match you to a VIN or just schedule a temporary delivery?

Just got to have a Tesla employee find out. The production could also have marked a final release of inventory, so you never know?

Once they start shipping depending on the time for southern california it can be same day or next day. Call up your SC and have them check your VIN and they might be able to schedule something tomorrow or the next day depending the status they see.

Question for those who have the "finalize payment" screen. Do you get an option to modify your financing amount when submitting payment?

From what people said on here, the first people who got their VIN had it show up last night. So it might be all day, but we'll see today I guess, if no one else hears until tonight/tomorrow morning.

With battery shortage they are probably just simplifing production and between SR+, LR AWD, and performance, LR AWD makes better profits for the battery amount

Definitely contact Tesla and verify the build date for those VINs when you get the chance!!!!

This is very much possible. Every other person with an inventory car had a VIN of 344XXX or under, I never saw it reach 345XXX. So seeing that these two are like that could mean that. Plus it is confirmed that the VINs aren't necessarily sequential

You can decode it using a website, but it won't tell you exact build date. You'll need someone from Tesla to do that
