An Amusing Story of Tesla Delivery Woes

Funny you say that I found an online form on tesla’s website that allows me To quote a vehicle for trade-in, prior to deposit/online order. Sales rep Kim called me, but then sms’d me cuz I couldn’t pick up at work. Asked me to confirmed the mileage I filled out, then I never heard from her...

Vancouver\BC May\June Deliveries - Fixing issues, or refusing delivery after completing paperwork?

Ya that would be what I consider to be “fair”. But I’m reading a lot of “take it or leave it” attitude for the Vancouver centres. I have no problem driving away with a giant scratch, as long as it’s in writing that they’ll fix it. I think I will fill and not sign until after inspection/fix...

An Amusing Story of Tesla Delivery Woes

You do buy a Tesla even if you're poor, when you live in Vancouver BC. Where we have a $10K incentive, reducing the purchase price, and gas price ranges from $1.4 to $1.8 per LITRE on a weekly rotation. I only drive 50km per day for work, and the monthly cost to finance and "fuel" a Model 3 for...

Vancouver\BC May\June Deliveries - Fixing issues, or refusing delivery after completing paperwork?

I couldn't find any info on this, and any relevant posts on this is buried in other threads not directly related to this...so i figured I'd start this thread. If you've received your car already, what option were you given for any issues you found, after you did the paperwork? In particular...

An Amusing Story of Tesla Delivery Woes

Unfortunately, the vancouver center is full of these stories. Our return within 7 days are thrown out the window due to the incentive. Lots of take it or leave it stories.

How do you know if the backseat is off by a centimetre? They measured the cushion? Lol I’m picky, but that’s just stupidly anal.

At delivery, what paperwork did you get for “items to be serviced”

As title states. What paperwork did u guys get for issues they agree to fix, prior to signing off on the delivery paperwork? I’m sure not everyone agreed to just take their word on repainting a scratched bumper or something. In particular, I’m asking for deliveries in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

    Rejected delivery

It almost sounds like they were betting on you to just take *sugar* from them, just so you can get the incentive in time.

    Rejected delivery

That’s crazy, you placed an order for the future? There’s a check list somewhere. But basically it’s just checking every panel and gap for defect.

Those of you with defects that they agreed to fix, do you have them put it in writing or?

Reveal your VIN before it appears on your account

wtf...i ordered May 24, SR+ Black on black, 18", got SMS, got delivery date of Jun 15, NO VIN on my account's page, or source code. I've been trying to call Tesla at their "immediate assistance" number, kept getting disconnected after "let me connect you to a specialist" I'm so confused at...

    SMS - Scheduling Delivery Appointment?

Luckily...and unfortunately, my phone was stolen right when I was changing out the SIM card for travel...so they got my latest info, hence the SMS. Just confused about sms asking for scheduling, and there’s no appointment time available 30 min after I received the sms.

Ohhh...but wtf. What was their reasoning on not fixing it? Also, how bad was the alignment issue? If you could see it visually, it would not even be road safe.

    SMS - Scheduling Delivery Appointment?

So...lurker here on this forum. I ordered a M3 SR+ a week ago...so I wasn’t expecting this SMS so soon. I also couldn’t find the VIN details on the Tesla account source code. No extra info/link about appointment on my account. The link take a me to a page that says: I would call Tesla...
