ICE cars sit on lots for months, but Tesla delivering in 2 weeks means demand is slacking? They haven't even started delivering cars in most of the world yet. I was looking at 3 inventory cars in LA at lunch today, all 3 were gone within 2 hours.

Have you had any luck finding anything in inventory? My Tesla advisor said he's looking but nothing so far. I'm told him I'm even willing to change the color of my car if that helps.

I heard same language from my guy too. but with the 6-8 week estimate the company has no obligation to get the SR's out before the cutoff. And looking at the Model 3 delivery tracker, there are a quite a few SR/SR+'s that have lately taken more than 30 days to deliver.

Even if they don't say it outright, they seem to be prioritizing SR+ orders, so... no.

It definitely is, that's why they're quoting longer lead times to make people upgrade to SR+ before the tax cutoff.

When i ordered in store it was quoted 2 weeks. But after my tesla advisor manually changed the order to a SR (they have to order a SR+ then put a change order to get you a SR), the delivery estimate on my tesla account jumped to 6-8 weeks. I think this only applies to SR orders from what I read...

Anyone else order a SR and see their delivery estimate jump from 2 weeks to 6-8 weeks recently?
