AFAIK, Tesla used to do it back in 2018 but I think they were only allocated 2 or 3 a year and said it wasn't worth the hassle. Hence the reason why no more SCRAP-IT for Tesla's. Do realize SCRAP-IT is a private entity... they can do whatever they want

If I made a video with a phone app dB meter on top of each speaker in the dash will you believe me then? No doubt that It is connected, it is just disabled in software as it used to work.

Do you own a SR? Or will you take advice from an actual SR owner who had the SR+ configuration before they nerfed it? My EQ settings had to change after my car showed as a SR -- immersive off before too. I had to bump up the trebles to get it to sound similar to before.

We don't have regrets. We're just not happy we're not given the full 150KM range. Every bit of range counts when you only have so much. We're susceptible to uncalibrated battery, degradation with no way to fix such.

Honestly, it sounds stupid. They legally sell SR+ with the incentive. It doesn't make sense for the SR- to not be able to upgrade to SR+ if they changed their mind.

Great. On a good day it’s 142KM, bad day at 138km rated. Others on this forum disagree that we should have full 150km range but we have quite the gimped range.

All Canadian cars still have the premium trial. No idea when that expires as Tesla hasn’t figured out the price for Canadians.

You're one of us! I don't think extra 35KM is correct... we would jump from 150KM to ~402KM or 38xKM range. Let us know what the service center says!

All fuss aside, seems like Tesla has pushed a config update and now our cars no longer show Standard Plus and are now Standard. Our speakers seems to sound a bit off now... I believe 2 more speakers are disabled now. talk about more things removed in this car than delivered...

Tell me how my battery degrades when I only can charge to 43%. To get this kind of degradation, I’d need to charge to 100% constantly and leave it at that capacity always. It so happens that even Bjorn’s TM3 also randomly lost range after V10?

Although Tesla doesn’t suggest the range to be subject to conditions, therefore one cannot assume either way. However, what one can assume is that this range is subject to reasonable conditions. Canada has its own fuel economy system. The very car is rated for 151KM in fact. Page 44...

The problem is that the estimated range available is RATED range, not based on how you drive. Therefore the rated range should not fluctuate. It gets worse when you have only 150KM and a bit is eaten up by cold climate and then having the car itself not charge another 10+KM is where things go...

This is the rating we were promised. No mention of estimate. It is a HARD number. If I was promised a fully 150km range car. I expect a car that has 150km no matter what conditions. This was the case before the V10 update.

So you’re saying 10% degradation is normal after only 4000 KM?? What we were promised as a 150KM range wasn’t the EPA estimated range.

On a side note, based on my OBD2 reader, the highest battery capacity percentage I have seen lately is 39.84% at 100% This means that the battery is literally capped at the lower end, the further we drain our batteries and it’s health.

This is a problem somebody has brought up before... the handoff between Spotify and different devices is not properly coded. The car fails to regain access to Spotify if another device is accessing Spotify. Also having the volume all the way down to mute should pause, but it does not.

It’s the streaming tab you see and select any random song.

Anyone with a SR- with the new update 2019.32.2.1 not getting regen when the car is at full charge? Regen used to work despite the battery was charged at 100%... as our models have limited capacity.
