I noticed on Autotrader prices for recent vintage, low mileage 2021 and 2022 MYs HIGHER than a new 2023 MY you could order today from Tesla, or pick one from inventory. Interesting to see at which point used MYs will drop enough that it would make sense to buy one over a new one.

For me too. The yoke didn't bother me much once Hansshow made their wheel available which is pretty sweet. The stalks though are tough to add back, at least until @rhuber makes the upgrade option available. In the meantime, it looks like Tesla is walking back the stalks delete on M3 and MY. Lucky.

Curious if anyone can confirm this - if you order order the car with FSD, does the $15k get included in the price of the vehicle on which (at least in California) sales tax and DMV registration fees are based on? If so it would seem to me that's one more reason not to order FSD with the car.

Yes re: the wheel. The stalks though... now that's something I don't see Tesla reverting on.

Does anyone know the diameter of the Hansshow wheel relative to the M3 wheel?

I didn't realize the wheel in M3 is smaller, I'll have to drive M3/S back to back.

Thanks @rhuber, this is great news. I also picked both wheel and stalks, although it seems to me if Tesla offers the wheel retrofit for $700 it may not be worth your while to include it in your upgrade. Looking forward to seeing this come alive!

Thanks so much for replying, I will do the same - just change the bulbs and see how it goes. I had a ranger come to my house for a door handle and he said you cannot change the ballast without taking off the headlamp assembly (and thus the bumper) so if I don't have to do that I will be very happy.

Confirmed not an issue. I covered mine with 3M 1080 wrap, no negative impact. Curious is anybody has found a different wrap that matches better the solid white paint (code PBCW).

chaserda, did you have any luck with wrapping the nosecone chrome ring? I'm interested in doing the same on my 2016 90D. What color were/are you going for? Would love to see pics if complete.
