It finally happened overnight - I’ve got a VIN!! 252xxx. New window 5/22-5/26. Truthfully I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, checked and saw it, and didn’t get excited because I thought had to be dreaming 😂 Checked again this morning and sure enough it was there!!

Yep, for east coast deliveries with mid-feb ODs, I've noticed its M3Ps, and LRs with white interiors that are getting VINs

Congrats!! I saw a bunch of 2/16 orders get their VINs yesterday, and now with you getting your VIN as a 2/17 order I'm desperately refreshing my order page lol

Thats exactly what I'm saying. A car is a necessity (for most people), but a $55k high tech luxury EV is just that - a luxury. You should already have your finances in order and be in a good financial position if you're buying a car that costs that much money.

My advice would be that the overwhelming majority of people do not get their car for multiple months after ordering, and if they happen to have this "issue" where they get a unicorn way ahead of time, then they can always put their order on hold. Absolutely do not wait to order one, lead times...

Big update today, finally got my first 2 week window!! EDD just moved up to 5/16-5/30. This is good news for all my fellow WNY folk that have also been starving for some positive movement I know a flood of people are getting 2 week windows and VINs right now, but I did also call Tesla yesterday...

I feel you, brother. OD 2 days after you, Mt. Kisco. Current EDD is still the pushed back date of mid june to july.....hard seeing people get VINs who ordered after me

I was also an unfortunate victim of the 4/20 push-backening. From 5/5-6/2 to 6/16-7/21….oof. First update I had received since 3 days after ordering too. Really hoping the reports of the system being jumbled and giving incorrect dates right now is true

How are you doing delivery? When I got my current Tesla back in 2019, they offered me either carrier direct for free, or $500 store credit and reimbursed travel if I went to Kisco to pick it up. This time around it’s $750 for delivery, and if I go pick it up I don’t get reimbursed for travel, or...
