I was able to charge. I thought it was going to be free, but it did come through that I had to pay. It did not show up at my navigation. It showed up in the Tesla app on my phone, but when I said share with car, it never would go through.
Supercharging cost now has four tiers when charging by the minute. Grey is $.33/kW. Blue is new 4 tier pricing. Orange is old two tier pricing. Y axis is dollars / kW. X axis is charging power level.
The tech wasn’t wrong. Charging now. The site is not showing up in navigation yet. I missed being the first to charge at the new Knoxville charger by a couple of hours. Maybe I’m the first one at this one.

I was curious so I drove past this new supercharger this afternoon. The fencing is still up but there were workers present. As I drove past the workers looked up and gave me a little nod. I didn’t bother them. I’ll drive back by next week and see if it’s turned on yet.

They pushed the taper much later. It seems to be a smart move because the fan start was much later. What they lost going from 105 to 100 appears to be worth it because a lot of that was just heat. Just my .02

I did use the navigation to route to the SC. I was on a long trip and did see the battery pack condition indication before the previous SC. Just before the 2nd SC (where the data was taken) I did several hard accelerations so the heating feature appeared to not be needed. Also I charged from 22%...
First post here. I charged over the weekend with my SR+. The taper is allowing more power with 2019.20.2.1. Sorry I didn't catch the condition before 54%.
