    It puzzles me why Tesla cannot get quality control right?

    Because these are luxury tier vehicles that are $50k and above. If these were some sort of Kia then expectations wouldn't be where they are. At this tier, the cars should have robust quality control and a great service experience.

    This is essentially why Insurance premiums are generally high for these vehicles. The safest cars on the road but expensive to repair.
