Version E. Hansshow sent me some recommendations this morning on how to enable the bass to the front door speakers that I am going to try. I don't know though if that's going to make a difference. Something in the start up of the system seems to be boosting the volume temporarily.

Yes. This is driving me crazy. Mine won't always go quiet after few minutes. I will reboot the car and this will fix it. I also notice that, if I go for a short drive, then go into a store and come back, the audio is fixed. This is one of my biggest complaints about the system.

Honest question. If your installer does their job and puts it all in as directed by the Hansshow installation guide, are they also responsible then for ensuring the fader/balance work properly and that the sound levels are set correctly? Where does liability end on the installers part?

There aren't any solid reviews just yet because it's just that. Good. I think it can be much better with adjustments to the DSP, but I am not expert on that. That's why I made videos and tried really hard to get this working well enough to encourage others to do the same and help the community.

I put mine next to the 12v terminal and it seems to be functioning fine.

Hansshow told me they don't touch the center speaker. The tap the front left and right. If I hit mute all on the DSP i only hear the center speaker. It does sound muffled and I tried to explain it as crackly, like someone crumpling paper lightly. That didn't translate well in Chinese lol.

Sorry if it came off negative. Tolerable probably wasn't the right word. When it was first installed with the default settings the treble was hurting my ears and making it really annoying to listen to. The version I updated to yesterday made my ears not hurt anymore :)

Crap. I had the application open 2 seconds ago and closed it! I will be doing a deeper dig through the settings this weekend and compare what the changes have been. They actually gave me another new DSP file this morning to load. I won't be able to check until tomorrow though.

Looks like all their audio stuff went up. It's removed from the main page, but if you search you can find it. The DIY kit was $89 before right? It's now $149

I found a spotify playlist called Frequency Bass Test Tones which lets you play songs at 5hz increments. Starting at 5 and going all the way up to 100. It's not until about 25 or 30 that I start getting bass tones at around 40hz the bass sounds great. My teeth are rattling!

Can you post your configuration file settings? I'd like to try them out to see if it makes a difference. I have found that some songs sound really great. If there is a lot of deep bass, like in your video, however, if the bass is higher it's totally washed out and just lots of high tones.

Do you have any washout of the bass on higher toned bass? I am going to look for a file to play and to send to you where I am experiencing some issues to see if it's just me! I am going to try the new settings they sent me tonight to see if that improves it. Are your signals and chimes back...

I left mine as is. It's the channel mapping that makes the difference. I was having some issues with video editing tonight and also one of my clips didn't record so I have to do it again when everyone isn't sleeping!

I have figured out the profiles to reverse the fader and balance however there are still some odd things going on. When I fade front left or right ALL of the bass activates and sounds pretty good, however, the sound profile isn't balanced then. If I move back to the center, the music is coming...

Correct. I used the smaller orange clips to plug into the harness at the back passenger seat. Both rear speakers that were from the factory are on and working.

That was what I experienced myself, yes. I did not install the news ones though. I may run the wires though into the back in the event I decide to later add those in.
