The last couple of updates (2020.4.1 and 2019.whatever), I noticed a msg on the phone app - "updating software" with a percentage complete. It never told me it was available or allowed scheduling. Eventually the msg said "100% complete" but it didn't show the new release in the Tesla icon...

What is this "lever" that's being mentioned (to get out of the car)? I'm missing something here. Is there something in the manual?

I think most of the phone app/car interface have been fixed in the last couple of s/w releases. I still have it happen occasionally but it's now very seldom.

It's happened maybe three or four times in the 8 months I've had the car. None in the past couple of months (suspect that one of the recent s/w updates probably fixed some stuff; in the release notes, there's always a comment like, "fixes bugs and minor problems").

Yeah....sometimes I get in the car with the phone app and then it keeps asking me for the card! If I wave the phone around, everything is fine! Not a deal-breaker but irritating!

In the car, navigate to the supercharger station you want to use (or on a trip, it'll tell you where to stop). Then tap the supercharger icon you're headed to and it'll show how many are in use real time; I believe it'll update if you check frequently.

I use a 125GB USB drive that I had no problems formatting FAT32 on my Windows10 PC.

Occasionally, when I walk up to my mod 3, it doesn't recognize my phone so the car remains locked. If I try pulling the door handle several times, it usually connects and the door opens (once in a while I have to get out my Tesla key and use it). I'd say it happens about 10-15% of the time...
