    Nope. My car was the victim of a rat. Chewed one of the harnesses. $1400 fix - thank God for comprehensive coverage. So still no major issues after 15 months of ownership and 19K miles. :-)

    Because they had the buyer underwrite the cost with the purchase. If it had intrinsic value at purchase time, that cost should have value later, too. I am sure their margins on cost of development increase over time, so if they charge a current buyer That would be assuming that there are no new...

    Parking brake bizarre malfunction

    I just had that happen today. I had numerous faults including the parking brake, ABS system, steering, park assist and several others, and the car would not drive. I am waiting for a tow truck and I will update the forum on what they find.

    Development costs are not "free", so this is not and will never be a 'free' option. However, like all technology, the cost should go down over time.
