Alset Auto (Portland) did a fantastic job again! Satin/stealth

Nice pics. I'm in the market for a Stealth full wrap of a MY I just picked up today. I came across Alset here in Dallas, but I couldn't find any info on their site about what brand of ppf they use. Can you shed any light on this question? Seems like everywhere I look, most everyone talks about...

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

Thought I'd check in. Installed the new wheels/tires last night. I'm really happy them. Sorry for the night pic, I haven't been able to get a pic in the day yet. Here's what my final order was: 4 x VMR Wheels V710 19x8.5 ET35 5x114.3 64.1 - Hyper Silver Dunlop Signature HP Does anyone know if...

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

It's crazy. I just called Tesla parts and they confirmed that, if I bought 19" wheels directly from Tesla, they would come with the Continental ProContact RX, 235/40-19, 96W. But Discount Tire is telling me that Tesla is wrong and that the can only put on a 98W.

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

Thanks @P-Lo801. That's helpful info. @kbecks13 - Ok, I think I understand now. VMS has recommended the Pirelli P Zero All Season, which has is 96V. So that's lower than the Tesla rating for 19" -> 96W. So does that mean I should look at a different tire? Another tire that VMS recommended was...

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

@kbecks13 @Tdave Hey guys, hoping to get some clarification here. So VMR speced out a tire size of 235/40/19. But then I spoke to a guy at Discount Tire and he said that, due to weight bearing, I needed a 245/40/19. As a reminder I have the P3D- stealth, currently with stock 18". Can anyone...

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

Hey thanks to @srkerd , @kbecks13 and @Tdave. That's all super useful information. TDave, living in Portland, we get around 8 months of rain per year. Maybe 2 to 5 days of snow. So I hesitate doing a summer/winter tire setup. Because if it's a summer tire, I'd only get to have it on the car a...

    VMR V710FF 19" Wheels

Hello all. Great thread here. All the posts have been helpful. I drive a white Stealth AWD - so I think they call it the P3D- ? So I have the regular, non-Performance brake calipers. I was hoping for some advice. I came to this thread in a round-about fashion. I'm currently running stock 18"...

    Different tires for 19" AWD?

I'm buying 19" wheels for my model 3. Interested to know if you ever ended up finding out any info on other tires. I've never bought tires before, so don't know much about them, but from what I understand, the Continentals have the quiet foam ContiSilent. But not sure if that makes a big...

Can't use multiple Bluetooth devices (iphone & iPad)

I second this request. Coming from a Subaru Crosstrek, I could connect my phone to make and receive calls in the car, and my daugher could connect her phone to play music. Can't seem to do this in the Model 3 and I really miss not having this feature.

Model 3 performance new 18 inch wheel option now avail 7/15/19

Update on this: I received the following sms message from Tesla this morning: It shows on our end that it has successfully installed which means if you haven't seen the firmware update come through that engineering has put a hold on the firmware being installed in your vehicle which is often...

Model 3 performance new 18 inch wheel option now avail 7/15/19

Any news on your firmware version? I have the stealth performance as well (took delivery on 7/20). I was stuck at 15.104. Then I got in touch with Tesla. They said their records showed I was at 16.104. I sent them screenshots, they pushed an update (which I received). But when the update...

Model 3 performance new 18 inch wheel option now avail 7/15/19

Hello all. I'm completely new to this forum. I'll be ordering a Model 3 in the coming days. I've been on an internal roller coaster going back and forth between the LR AWD and the Performance. The main reason I've been thinking about the Performance is for those 3.2 seconds! I don't really care...
