Still waiting since ordering my MY AWD 7 seat White/White (+ Tow) NO FSD OD *08/29/2021* EDD changes 12+ times - pushed again recently from a "tesla text - will build / delivery in Sept" to EDD of October 2 - October 16 (2022)... approaching 14 months....

Update from Tesla end of last week September 20 - October 2, 2022 (date range continues to pull in). I refused the trade-in offer (was ridiculously low for a functioning car). Awaiting updates and hopefully a successful delivery.

Update from Tesla on 2022-09-09 - September 20 - October 4, 2022 (date range seems to be getting closer). Neighbor who ordered a MY AWD 5 seat after we did - took delivery last week 2022-09-07.

Yes. I called Tesla to inquire if I was incomplete in any step. They said VIN assignment will hopefully be in July. I’ve heard others waiting over 12 months. Really looking forward to driving the Model Y.

Difficult to secure financing and time a best rate that will "stick" (rarely a lock > 60 days) when the delivery window is wider than 6 months.

Perhaps future Tesla IDRA Giga Press (casting) orders for Model Y and other vehicles could include a complementary 1:18 scale version casting + mold at the time of delivery to a Giga Factory so that the merch store is also firing on all rotors... ;) If there is a pre-order option for a 1:18...
