I'm guessing that there's an assumption you can fit valuables in the lower covered compartment in the trunk. *shrug* I do agree that it seems easy enough to have some mounting points for a cover though.

If you're using turbotax, go delete your car for form 8936 and re-add it. There's some bug right now that takes you're old manually entered credit amount and then does a .25% calculation on it. When I deleted the car and re-added it it did the 7500 * .25 calculation and gave me the correct...

I've considered changing my default texting app just to see if things change. Unforunately, I do not have a method to re-create the issue consistently. It's pretty random when it happens.

Yep, the "most direct" route from seattle to astoria is essentially I5 south to Kelso/Longview, then straight west to Highway 30. :)

They really needed this charge location if you go through longview towards astoria... Centralia and Vancouver are fine, but this one lets you head west towards the coast semi-optimally.

I like this location based on a worst case scenario... If I'm stuck in traffic in freezing cold weather for hours between here and centralia... Skipping a SC location because it's really busy, etc... Just need that Longview location to kind of even it out. :)

I leave a key card in my garage on a shelf where no one would ever know/think to look for one. On the occasion that I forget my phone when I walk out there, (once a week) I go grab the card off the shelf. Saves me that swearing out loud moment. :)

It's probably based on when the MCU was manufactured. Most likely before V10 was widely available. They're not going to spend time during assembly to update the firmware since they're trying to produce the car as fast as possible. :) Even the MCU manufacturer probably sticks with a known...

SR+ As of August 1st does not include fog lights. I'd seek clarification if you want fog lights as part of your upgrade. I'm guessing if you were delivered with fog lights prior to Aug 1 you keep them, but they are not included now.

I think it's good enough. Food, restrooms, random crap you can buy, and getting on and off the freeway at that location is actually incredibly fast. Better than centralia IMO. Years ago I'd stop there sometimes in my ICE due to the quality of the mini mart and bathrooms.

I agree. After ordering the SR+ I have found that the extra 20 miles isn't needed in about 99.99999% of my driving habits. I'm okay with ordering the SR+ since my deal worked out well, but I think the SR is very approachable for "the masses".

Haha, I was wiring my 14-50 and had the adapter ordered a week before I took delivery as well! Charging at 32 amps (32 miles per hour it says) is really nice. Most days I used somewhere around 40-50 miles of range and plug it in anyway. You never know when social life will drop an opportunity...

The "completed tasks" tab on my order updated automatically. It used to say 1600 owed at time of delivery, it changed to -900 late yesterday afternoon without me doing anything. I have not seen a copy of the final paperwork, I assume I will only see that when I arrive for delivery.
