    RCS Messages Not Sending

    Given that Tesla's can't cope with RCS messages (at the moment in May 2023), this isn't too surprising. I'd turn off RCS to the person you're texting for now.

    Pixel to Pixel Texting Issue

    This is an RCS issue, a format for newer "enhanced" texting that Tesla's software can't read. You need to turn if off on a per-user basis in the texting app itself. No setting on the car (currently) can address this: https://www.jasondunn.com/how-to-fix-tesla-text-receiving-issue/

    SMS Irregularities receiving/reading texts

    Hey all. Here's the root issue: as of May 2023, Tesla software does not understand RCS messages. That's why instead of the car reading the text message, it reads the date/time/etc. effectively making it useless. This info is part of the header in the RCS message (think of it like an email)...
