random rumour I'm starting: September 22nd, Tesla will announce they are shifting to CCS1 in North America for future models, simulatenously announcing a CCS to Tesla adaptor for all existing cars. Elon is quoted is saying he will announce "a lot of things"... why not that?;)

fwiw... last spring, when had had my tesla m3 fotr one week... I was the chauffeur for my son's prom. obviously no worries, and later in the evening, other arrangements were made... but yeah. M3 is popular at proms.

I know the snow flake doesn´t indicate lack of regen (which is shown by the dashed lines on the left of the power meter) but I have the feeling that when you have a snow flake it is like, next level lack of regen. Typically the ability to produce, but also accept current is limited by the snow...

oh, and in a couple of snow storms so far, the SR+ (RWD) is great in snow... weight distribution and traction control are great things.

I´m in Canada, and they have lots of CCS and Chademo for public charging, but it´s pretty obvious that Chademo is dead plug walking. Would really prefer to get a type 1 CCS to Tesla Adaptor.

There is CCS Combo in a lot of places the Tesla network doesn't reach. Can't get to Gaspé, Qc ... Can´t get to Rouyn-Noranda. If I click CCS-Combo in abrp. I can get to both places totally direct. This lack of CCS-combo is already a pain in Canada.

um... if us market is not moving to CCS, then how come: chevrolet bolt EV, kia niro ev, kia soul ev, hyundai kona electric, bmw i3, egolf etc... all come with CCS on North America? The Koreans are especially interesting because last generation of kia soul ev had Chademo, but current gen is CCS...
