Tesla updated their site and lists the LR AWD @ 322 miles of range, yet the performance is still at 310. This is about a 4% gain. I assume this is part of the latest announcement. Interesting that 310 is still listed for the performance model. I wonder which category the P3D- is going to fall...
That’s true as of this evening. I just so happen to luck into the last one on the east coast (according to my advisor). Black on black. Picking it up tomorrow!
Update - car arrived “earlier than expected” and Tesla won’t hold it for more than 7 days. I can’t pick it up before the 26th due to being out of the country. Getting put back in que on Friday, hoping that I can get matched to my original car. If I can’t, back to waiting. Disappointing at best.
I ordered the hub, charger and the spacer on October 3rd. Received a confirmation email and that was it. Sent an email yesterday to their support team and a few hours later received a shipping email. Coincidence? I'm strongly leaning towards no....
Update! Received VIN today (10.9) Tesla rep said the car is on the rail right now, expected to be in Baltimore on October 19th. Picking it up 10am on October 26th! Ordered on 10.2... 24 days from order to delivery.
I'm not sure I agree with this... I ordered last week and scheduled for pick-up Oct 22nd. My Tesla rep said most orders are about 3-4 weeks out. Although I am on the east coast and he said we get cars significantly quicker.
Ordered early last week... when I go into my Tesla account and click "Upgrade AP"... FSD Computer is listed as included upgrades. I wonder if this is something that wasn't changed over or if they reverted back to 2.5.
Received text today to schedule pickup. 10/22 or 10/23. Unfortunately we’re out of the country until the 25th. Tesla rep is trying to push it to the 26th. If he can’t, he said it’ll only be a few days after.
Sorry to resurrect this thread. I currently have an order in for a M3. I plan on trading in my vehicle. In my tesla account, tesla has a trade-in value at $13,995 without even seeing the car (not pictures or on-site inspection) and Carmax gave me an offer for $18k yesterday. That's a pretty big...
Agreed. I’m in the same boat. About to buy a M3 without FSD and trying to understand the differences between AP and NOAP. I don’t care much about the car taking on and off ramps, but I assumed that manualy initiated lane changes are part of the base AP.
Federal and State "rebates" are just tax deductions, it's not actually cash in hand. When you do your taxes next year, work with your tax adviser (or HR Block/Turbo Tax/etc...) to apply the "rebate."
You can use any amperage... the home charger needs to be set to whatever circuit you have it on.https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/downloads/wall_connector_installation_manual_80A_en_US.pdf (page 22)
Looks like on a 50amp circuit, it''ll pull 40amps and your Model 3 will charge at 37mph...
Recieved a call from the local Tesla rep, they expect it to be here at the end of next week (ordered yesterday.) No VIN, but that was a lot quicker than I was expecting!
Ordered 9/4/19! LR AWD - White exterior, black interior, standard wheels, no FSD.
I've been waiting years to get in a Tesla... happy to finally be a step closer! Will report back once I've made some sort of progress.
You can always make a whip out of 12/2 and throw a 220 plug on it. Might have to modify the case a bit, but it'll work. Amazon sells 220v extension cords. Cut off the end, hardwire into the panel and plug the other end in.
