Guess what's working! There was a Tesla rep here putting on the decals and turned on 4 of the 6. Highway 16 is coming along nicely!

I noticed the fencing is gone, no signs saying closed, so I tried, but it's not working (white charge light). I was too chicken to turn on the disconnect that I saw was off, maybe that's all it needed? I should call Tesla and see what's up.

Russell Manitoba Supercharger - unnamed Co-op employee confirmed SC will be installed at the new Food Store being constructed. With the also-rumored Neepawa SC, this would open up the remainder of 16HWY to Portage La Prairie.

Talked with Jeremy / mobile tech today, and he confirmed the SC's are not meant to only operate above a certain temp. They are supposed to work at all temps that we would see. We chatted a bit, and think as many do here that since he hasn't been told they are officially open yet, it's likely...

Curious if anyone has updates on charging speeds here in these -20c days? Apparently the Winnipeg one isn't working.

Exactly. That's pretty useless as the colder it gets the more I rely on high voltage charging stations.

I can confirm that in my Model 3 LR Dual Motor that 50% loss is about right in our Saskatchewan / Manitoba Winters. I drove from our family acreage Russell to Brandon around New Year's, this was after charging to full and in a heated garage at my dad's place. Although we saw a range decrease...
