I have no experience as much as you but recording mode through builtin dashcam is off right after taking car off as i heard... I just want to find how to use builtin dashcam as recording camera without sentry mode during parking.

Many thanks for your reply. I don't use car for commute so it will be parked in public area during 3~5day a week, rated consumption is about 40km/24hr, then I lost 120~200km energy for a week. almost half per full charge. I wanna minimize energy loss and keep my car through securing evidence.

Hello Im waiting model3 sr+ will be delivered next month! so exciting but some problem during parking, power consumption of sentry mode is too big for my 55kWh battery pack. Is there any idea to using builtin camera as blackvu(recording only, not sentry mode)?
