Reviving this old thread. Finally a company has come out with these adjustable upper control arms that are going to be mass produced and not one-offs: N2itive Launches Rear Control Arms for Tesla Models S/X!

    Burnt Model 3

I hate to think this, however, it would not surprise me if this was an electrical fire because someone DIY a bad 14-50 install or used a 14-50 to 10-30 adapter and kept charging at 32 amps or something dumb like that.

That is way far away from the sidewall and should be repairable. Any local Discount Tire/America's Tire or Les Schwab should be able to patch that.

But the mount is not. The front mount for a DR650 is different than the mount for a DR750 or the new DR900. I know I just replaced a 650 with a 750 and had to change the front mount. The rear is the same and the cabling is the same.

Supercharger - Issaquah, WA (LIVE Oct 2018, 8 Urban stalls)

No there is nothing installed, it is just pavement that is cut out filled in with gravel in a shape that would have a line of Supercharger spots then the equipment at the end. I was extrapolating where "1A" might be.

So many questions. There are (6) L2s at Microsoft in Issaquah and it is less than 3-4 miles from at least a dozen Chademo stations between Bellevue Nissan and Bellevue College. Why did you leave with only 130 miles?

Great install! How much did the labor cost to install the AL Priority and did you do the rear NetRadar as well? I am getting some absolutely ridiculous quotes here in the Seattle area. PM me if you don't want to post. Thanks.

Rear tires for the P85+ with 21x9 rears -- Michelin, Dunlop or Continental?

Look up your car on TireRack and pick R or ZR whatever it says for your car. My guess is ZR, either doesn't really matter, your not going to drive 155 mph. The most important part is the load rating. The 96Y 101Y and the XL is the load ratings. This is what you want...

Rear tires for the P85+ with 21x9 rears -- Michelin, Dunlop or Continental?

From my experience (and MANY others) the Tesla service centers cannot do a proper alignment job. Plus they won't install the 3rd party control arms. If you can hold off on the tires, do that, you don't want your crappy alignment chewing up a set of brand new tires. Tell them you'll pass right...

Rear tires for the P85+ with 21x9 rears -- Michelin, Dunlop or Continental?

First of all, you need your alignment checked. 8K on a set of rears in staggered configuration is about half what you should be getting. Take your Tesla to an alignment shop that specializes in aligning Porsche, Audi's, Mercedes, knowing how to setup a race car etc, is a perfect choice. Your...

    Tesla Powered Cobra Race Car

Great project! However, Isn't there some limitations on maximum C discharge on those Kia batteries? I wouldn't think they would like anything over about 4C which would be around 100KW. That would limit you to around 135HP or so. Or are you counting on the maximum pulse current? The doc here...

I had the exact same thing happen to the on-board charger on my 2000 Ford Ranger EV, blowing fuses and not charging. After replacing the fuse, it worked for another 6 months, then it blew again. Second time replacing the fuse, it would just immediately blow the breaker. I suspect that the...

    v8.0 Renders one-pedal driving extinct....

Regen can be effected by lower battery temps. As we get into fall/winter, the battery temp goes down. As this happens, regen is gradually limited until the battery temp warms up. This could explain your perceived loss of regen.

    19" stock tire life?
