I guess those are door sills. They are wide and have to step over getting in out. Vinyl covering and scuffed up (mine are tan)...prefer not to use a harsh chemical cleaner.

Excellent - very helpful information. One more question - I know Teslas can use non-tesla chargers; are Roadsters able to do that? And can they plug into the high speed Tesla charges that have gone up all over the US?

Thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. 8.5 years driving a 2012 and 2014 Nissan Leaf and I was never in the shop.....EV's are so incredibly reliable. So happy you had the same experience with the Roadster. It was really the first on scene and still one of the best!
