August 3rd W/W performance order to Southern California. Still no VIN (not even in page source), but account is now showing a delivery appointment for September 24th. Puts delivery at 52 days from date of order. Good to know that the wait will be over soon.

My Tesla contact said that they would try and waive the white interior upgrade in addition to adding the 2 years of free charging, but later got back to me with I can choose one or the other, but not both.

August 3rd order White/white P3D to SoCal. Just got the same text, but without the second part: “Tesla Update We expect to deliver your Model 3 in the next two weeks and will update you when your delivery appointment is ready to be scheduled.”

It was something they told me they would look into, but just got a more updated response that they won’t offer both to me, but I can choose which one I prefer.

Spoke with my rep at my delivery center and was told that they would offer the 2 years of free supercharging to my August 3rd order that is yet to be delivered and that they will try and see if they can waive the white interior upgrade cost.

Are you referring to the 2000 supercharger miles referral increase? Or is this some type of different promotion? Wouldn’t be fair to offer this to people purchasing “in inventory” cars and not to the people who are sitting here waiting over a month on their cars.

My car got totaled from getting rear ended back in July. Ordered 8/3. Still have not received a VIN and there isn’t one in the source code either. The text I received on 8/23 told me to expect another 5-6 weeks until delivery versus the 3-4 week estimate other people got. Really hope that doesn’t mean that I’ll have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks...

Really hope that this isn’t the case. Wouldn’t be fair to postpone west coast deliveries despite being placed weeks before some of these east coast orders that are currently being shipped.
