Waxing brand new Tesla 3
I believe Tesla are water borne base coat and clear coat. no need to cure. spoke to the people at meguiars and they said immediately if paint from factory; body shop not so. -

Tesla Schaumburg Il
I stopped by the Schaumburg location to check out my car, picking up tomorrow. I saw 40-50 model 3 there; mostly white and a few reds and grays. Salesperson said they just got 2 truck loads today. Next few days going to see a lot of 3s driving around.- rosros

ordered 8/03 got vin in source code. called up delivery center to confirm, have prelim date of 9/16. looks like chicagoland getting their performance cars. been nice if they were to communicate with me vs going through the source code.- rosros

Will insurance replace instead of repair the rear bumper cover?
Depends where the damage is. If the damage is around the blind spot sensors, than it has to be replaced however minor the damage is. Cannot put bodyfiller or excessive paint build up over the sensors.
