Tesla is so far behind that they are not even taken seriously by the real self driving car companies. Sorry to throw cold water on FSD, but it’s a scam that deserves the shame it gets.

So how is "FSD" these days? Cruise has had completely driverless cars out on the streets all year, hundreds of them if not more. You would hardly know it by the way the cars are driving. Or if you noticed that there wasn't a single person occupying the vehicles.

Tesla is worse, but the legacy manufacturer’s EV build quality is worse than their ICE. Exceptions are the when they build the exact same vehicle as ICE with an EV drivetrain. Legacy manufacturer software quality is very poor, exceptions being Polestar and IMO BMW.

Love the work you guys are doing. NVH seems like part science, part black magic. Suggestion: look into thick quilted exterior wheel well liners (e.g. current Audi Q5) and air suspension for further reduction of road noise. Air suspension can add another level of isolation.

As a former sucker I would disagree with that. Thank god I never bought FSD, but I sure bought the CEO’s promise that it was just around the corner every year from 2015-2020. I generally support Tesla and what they have done to electrify the industry, but the FSD deception is inexcusable.
