PTC means positive temperature coefficient which is another way of saying a resistive heater, that’s designed in such a way that it self regulates its temperature.

I had this same problem, too. The fix for me was to delete my phone as a key from the car and set it up again. Works fine now.

Who knows, maybe one day the Stealths will be valued like the Yenko and COPO cars of yesteryear, but that’ll be a long way off. So I’m gonna just enjoy my Stealth and probably pass it on to my kids once I can trust them with the GO pedal.

There are many cases of vehicles and devices that perform well in the strict confines of a controlled testing environment and then behave quite differently when placed into service in the real world. These poor performing receptacles may be one example of that.

Agree with the general guidance here. The Leviton receptacle may meet the requirements for a UL listing @ 50 amps but it is not up to the task for charging an EV, which is one of the reasons why Tesla has issued specific guidance on what receptacles to use...

Thanks. I’m asking because I purchased MPP spring arms to go with my comfort coilovers from 2020. The website says that the arms work with all their coil over springs but they don’t with mine - because mine are 70 mm id on the top but much larger on the bottom and won’t fit into the spring arms...

Are the rear coils 70mm i.d. Both top and bottom?
