    I have a 2016 Model S 90D. I have a single wall mounted charger capable of handling an 80 amp circuit.

    My electrician just installed a Tesla wall charger on a 60 amp circuit. We set the rotary switch to 9 which is designated for a 60 amp circuit with a throughput of 48 amps. However, the in-car monitor shows the batter charging at only 40 amps (40/40). Does anyone have an explanation for this?
