At the applying for financing stage, they don't require any documents. They simply perform a hard check on your credit report and either approve you, approve you with conditions on the minimum down payment, or deny you. Djino

Yes, at the point you submit your application for financing, you are subjected to a Hard credit check (regardless of the outcome). djino

Thy I wouldn't think they'd have any incentive to adjust the rate after you've taken delivery. Its not like you are free to then take your business elsewhere (nor would you be able to cancel/reorder) djino

Currently you can get 3.1% for 84 or 96 month terms with Scotiabank. or you can get 2.65% for 72 month term with Scotiabank. djino
