Did you ever figure this out. I just took delivery on my M# and noticed 2 of the same type of spots on my hood. It took me a week to notice until I had it in my garage and the right lights were on. Now I always notice it and it drives me crazy.

Picked my m3lr on the 24th and am on 2019.27.103 as well. Homelink doesn't work. They installed it on the 30th and haven't been able to get it to work after reinstalling the software twice.
