I had the same issue. Had a Hansshaw installer trying to install the frunk kit yesterday. They had two major issues. First issue was the latching of the frunk. After they got that addressed, then when they put everything back together, when the frunk closed, it sort of “taco’d” in the middle...

In addition to the wires not being without connectors which makes it impossible to pull though without cutting them, the wire colors in the braided cable that feed through the trunk wire pull are not what the videos say.

Anybody know if there is an ability to return this - and if so, how to do so? I really don’t want to cut and solder any wires. Also broke two trunk clips with no replacements. Not happy!!!!!

I received my kit earlier this week. The cabling that has to go through the trunk cabling on the RH side isn’t like it shows on the videos or in the documentation. The connectors are connected to the ends of the cabling so something is wrong. Anybody else experience this? Here are two pics...

What features would be lost with this version of the powered trunk? The only thing I’ve seen via the video is that the app can’t tell if the trunk is open or not. Am I missing something?

This is confusing. It appears from the forum posts that the same product is/was offered on Alibaba for $300 +/- for the trunk kit, but if you buy it directly from them, it is closer to $450 with free shipping? Also I haven’t seen anything that clarifies pricing for the installation or if it is...
