    Charging Door Spring Broke

Good luck, I hope you are more successful than I. when I took mine in about 10 years ago they made a big deal about how difficult it was to repair and that when taking off the body panels to gain access I'd be responsible if they broke anything.

6 seat owners, any solutions to keep things in the back with third row folded down?

No disrespect taken 😊. I actually bought it for my dog, then realized it was useful for preventing things from sliding into the main cabin. If I didn't have a dog or I was going to carry heavier things, I'd probably want to get something stronger and more rigid.

6 seat owners, any solutions to keep things in the back with third row folded down?

My dog cargo liner works well for hauling things that I don't want to slide into the cabin https://www.tesmanian.com/products/pet-dog-trunk-cargo-liner-for-tesla-model-x

    Today's Roadster Orphan

I had to drive over 400 miles in my Roadster when I bought it and the only hard part was stopping and waiting for slow chargers. I find it to be decently comfortable if it's not too hot.

    Gruber Roadster shocks?

I had Nitrons installed on #506 years ago and it was a night and day difference. The standard shocks felt like the battery was going to drop out of the back going over any bump, and the Nitrons felt so much better. Have not tried Gruber's shocks, but I think any change will be a massive upgrade.

Covering Cover for the original Roadster! Highly recommended

Nice, it's good to have options. I recently got the 5-layer all climate soft back from Covercraft as it was recommended by some others here. The Covercraft website lets you pick a version with vents and charge port cut out when adding to cart. Looks quite similar to the one in your pictures...

Has anyone found/looking for USB C to C cables that fit the wired phone cradle?

Ah thanks for catching that. I guess the Model 3s that now come with USB-C ports which OP is looking to retrofit also replaced the phone holder with the charging mat?

    Lifetime Premium Connectivity pre-July 2018

Maybe I'm misreading, but I don't think that is accurate based on the image you posted later. I'm fairly certain that the text in your screenshot that says "Used cars ordered on or after January 9, 2020 are eligible for Premium Connectivity subscription" refers to cars order through Telsa's CPO...

    Lifetime Premium Connectivity pre-July 2018

I don't think that is accurate. The car should keep it as long as it's sold private party. If it gets sold back to Tesla and Tesla then sells it to someone else through CPO it would lose it. As far as I know, this "sold prior to 6/30/2018" is from Tesla to the first customer. It sounds like...

    Replacement iphone

You'll need to download the app and login to your Tesla account to get basic access. You can then pair the phone to the car via BT if you want it to replace your key card / fob. Essentially, no different than the first time you set it up.

    Color change wrap questions

I did half of my wrap myself and some with help from my dad with no experience. Like you said, the 3M wrap is very forgiving and is much easier to install than PPF or say a screen protector on a phone. The parts I did not tackle were the front and rear bumper because of the sensors and...

    12.11.1

I used it for a short time today and was impressed that it warned me of a traffic light 600 ft ahead that I couldn't see because of a large truck in front of me. Good portable air compressor for the Model 3?

Model 3 HW3 retrofit questions, wait time, issues

Dropped mine off yesterday and got it back same day. No issues so far and only took about three minutes for me to go through all the settings and configure them back to where I wanted. Calibration was at 91% when I picked it up and finished on my short drive home. Happy to have the HW...

    The aerodynamics are weird

I have no problem with bugs on my daily commute in the Bay Area, but if I drive up or down I-5 my front bumper is completely covered in bug guts. I do find the dirt to build up more in the back of the car than the front as well.

Model 3 HW3 retrofit questions, wait time, issues

I just scheduled my two year service appointment for my Model 3 VIN 12xx and requested HW3 upgrade. They converted the mobile appointment to a service location and sent an invoice with the HW3 part listed at $0 a few days after making the request.

Recieved Die cast Roadster 2020- Headrest

No, but there is a tad bit of space before the firewall depending on how tall you are. My point was that it's a definite possibility the new Roadster doesn't have reclining seats. We'll just have to wait and see.

Carpet floors : Do anybody use them at all?

I've always used OEM carpet floor mats in my cars and have never needed to replace any of them. Several people on a forum posting they want all weather / rubber mats does not equal everyone doing so.

    Model 3 Software version 2019.32.x

It's not a huge version jump. The version numbers Tesla uses are time based and they've likely been devoting more time to Version 10.

Did you switch to Advanced on the Software Updates screen in settings? Also, did you check there to see if there is one available? I have advanced enabled and had no notification on my phone, but when I went into Software Updates I saw an update was available to download just waiting for wifi.

No audio bug in Model 3

I just had it happen to me again on 2018.50.6. It's annoying because it's not just radio but no turn signal noise or autopilot cues either. Can't submit a bug report during the issue because mic doesn't seem to work and voice control instantly says try again. Called Tesla Service number and...

Why is Black the least popular color?

I bought black knowing I was going to wrap it. For the 6-7 months I had it without the wrap, it felt like it was impossible to keep it clean. It even had some light swirl marks the day I picked it up from Tesla and they only got worse over time. Black also hides the lines of the car which I...

Software Version 2018.50.6 - No new features

I'm personally the opposite. I was in a light sprinkle the other day and my wipers were going crazy which was extremely distracting. I much rather have to occasionally push the button on the stalk than to have them going too fast.

No audio bug in Model 3

I've had this issue a few times over the last 1-2 months, rebooting wouldn't resolve. Worst was the last two days but disappeared when I installed 48.12 but I am guessing it just got out of state and will happen again unless they specifically addressed the issue.
