It's absurd we are still dealing with this in 2024. I put together a video going over the topic top to bottom. I'm hoping YouTube pushes it to a more broad "non-Tesla" audience. The more people that know about this, the faster it will get fixed.

I am in CT and would have a lot of fun doing this. Although, I think it was very expensive to rent out the track and there were insurance barriers.

Do we know if there has been any update on this one?

They told me that this is caused by this charger begining to fail and not pushing enough amperage. Would've been $1500 if it wasn't covered by warranty. It is under the battery warranty, so 8 yrs 120k miles for LR vehicles.

I had this issue, made a service appointment. They ended up replacing the power conversion system. I didn't even think of the possibility that it could've been just a firmware issue!

I just got mine today. Love it!! Seems well designed. Although...not sure I’m traveling anywhere soon with COVID-19.

With all the new chargers getting into the construction stage in CT, think they’ll be movement on this one? Maybe a worth a ride to check?

It definitely sounds like the Brooklyn NY SC is doing tons of retrofits here in the Northeast. Perhaps they are working closely with HQ to make the process more efficient to then roll out to other SCs.

I agree. Elon has said he wants to ramp V3 supercharger production. I believe much of the equipment is made at Giga 2 in Buffalo. Won’t help for the near future, but will probably help for future sites in 2020 and beyond.

I've never seen those Tesla maps to be accurate. Madison is being added and no indication that one is coming soon. Madison had it's V3 stalls delivered this week, so it leads me to believe that Meriden might've gotten there's or they are soon to be there.

Has anyone been by lately to see if any progress has been made? Crossing my fingers that the stalls were delivered.

I wish they'd put one in northeastern CT. The Willington TA would be an ideal location. It is a hole missing from the supercharger map!
