"Trailer Mode ON" when driving in deep water/heavy rain!?

Ive just repaired my M3 with trailer connector. It was full of water from rains. Causing the trailer symbol to appear, rapid indicator flash on the display. I was able to repair it from underneath, completely stripping down the connector, drying it out and where the wire plug into the front...

Leaving Tow Hitch cover off - any concerns about water getting in there?

Model 3 LR 2019 Well I've had random trailer connected symbol when it wasn't. Switching on the main lights would make the trailer symbol clear. The indicator would flash rapidly, but all indicators worked fine. The trailer socket was filled with water from the rear. You need to unbolt the...

    Hotspot instead of Tesla connectivity

I find Tesla to be penny pinching with this premium connection pricing whilst they allow tethering whilst on the move. Why dont they just allow all features as long as its not costing them data charges. I dont like that my £80k Model S has a basic feature of traffic congestion removed.

What would/will you pay for heated steering wheel?

Its nice having the feature on my MS and Leaf, but it is not essential. I wouldn't be swayed not to buy a car by not having heated steering

Has anyone in the uk installed a tow bar on their s?

The known issue is galvanic corrosion. Most tow bars are steel and the model S frame aluminium. I understand some companies have made an ali tow bar. I'd swap to a model X if it had 4 normal doors

    M3P - tyre choices

Non-Tesla recommendations for 2nd cheaper EV

It seems that most sub£30k market, some have decent range with poor acceleration, others have moderate range( subjective) but decent(not Tesla acceleration) acceleration. I put our Leaf into the latter category. But we find 100 miles a day is more than achievable. Decent boot and good 5...

If I get a flat tire in UK what’s my options?

If I get a flat tire in UK what’s my options?

Borrow a multi meter or dc clamp and measure the start up current and running current. Fit fuse with 20% greater of the max current. You could also fit a time delay (T) fuse if there is a large starr current but lowish running current
