Another thread on Mobile Connector or Wall Connector - 14-50 Outlet Question

I used a wall connector for two years before I moved. I have a new WC which I can't install for another 6-9 months. I have a 50A arc welder circuit in the garage. I can't use the garage, so I plugged a mobile connector in the garage and ran the cable through the wall. The only thing outside is...

Mobile Connector vs. Wall Connector for Outdoors

    Kilowatts hour?

I know I am being a bit pedantic, but it seems to me this is something Tesla, of all companies, should get right. I charge at a commercial charger frequently, and it always texts me a message like: "The cost was $4.37 for adding 39.752 kWh. Your vehicle...". When I have the car read me the...

    Tires and #2 gravel

To access a construction site I have to traverse about 30 feet of #2 gravel - roughly 2 inch crushed rock. I can go really slowly so not worried about undercarriage damage. Any reason to be concerned for the tires themselves? They are Bridgestone Turanza QuietTracks on a Model 3 (4000 pounds?).

    Model 3 approaches Camry levels

That's a riot! I picked up my contact-free, Thanksgiving turkey at the local farmer's market, and had to tell the person on the phone I was the SECOND white Tesla on the RIGHT...

FSD saved us from being crushed by a semi

You were really fortunate. I was most impressed that after the crash was avoided, the car just calmly kept driving! Bet you're glad they don't record the interior cam! Thanks for the post!

First Time Driving a Tesla- Just got my MY

Great summary! On #3 (Autopilot) - I found the hardest thing for me to get used to on my 3 was its insistence on driving in the middle of the lane (I generally drove more to the right side). It took me awhile to trust it knew what it was doing. It's a great tool for dealing with some of the...

Poll: Is FSD Worth the Cost?

I do the same 26 mile roundtrip on local roads (usually in rush hour) at least 6 times a week, and you get used to where AP and auto steer give you trouble and work around that. Within its limits, its a great help in dealing with a boring drive. I like NoA, as well - its usually better at...
