    Supercharger - Princeton, BC

Yep, I think I tried 1C, then 2B, then 1A if I remember correctly. Will pay closer attention next time. After 2 yrs of driving, and 2 trips to Mexico, I've never encountered that situation before. First time for everything ;-)

    Connectivity when driving in Mexico

Hi there, Just checking in to see if you can update this thread with any recent experiences. I took my Model 3 down to Mexico last winter and had zero connectivity from a point about two hours south of Phoenix. Spent five months in Mexico and unable to connect the entire time. Any info you can...

    Tesla App: "Waking Up"

Had a similar problem with the phone not pairing with the car, so I began using the keycard. My understanding was that if you enter the car using a keycard, you must also use the keycard when you want to lock the car. Not true. I was standing beside the car at a supercharger, iPhone in my...

Going from No Cell Coverage to Full Coverage—Not Detected

I've had many issues with connectivity (due mainly to my remote location). I found this site helpful in understanding the limitations of the system: Cell Tower Locator Guide 2020 | How to Find Cell Towers Near You For example, as I drive south from Phoenix, AZ, I have a good LTE...

    Tesla App: "Waking Up"

Thank you for posting this and for your perseverance in trying to find an answer. What I find peculiar about the screen shot of your phone is that the Frunk and Lock/Unlock commands are not greyed out. (Currently, I cannot wake my car, and all commands on the app are greyed out - not surprising...

Center display and touch controls vs. stalks and buttons

I'd have to agree with Edmunds . While I can appreciate some of the reasons for moving to a central touch screen, there are too many instances where I miss the old tactile system of switches and buttons that I could operate without diverting attention from the road. I'm really hoping Tesla...

    A few (early) 3 questions

I spent a fair amount of time using "A Better Route Planner" before buying our long range model 3. It allowed me to explore routes that I planned to travel and check out charging options along the way (Superchargers, destination chargers, Chademo). Initially, we'd planned on buying an M3 short...

3 country, 7,800 mile road trip in 15 days - SAFELY. Range anxiety, oh no! (yawn)

Can you enlighten us any more on the information the Tesla techs gave you? I'd read a post from a fellow in Wyoming that took his Model X down to central Mexico and had no issues with connectivity. I recently crossed into Sonora and quickly discovered I had no cell coverage. Do you know if this...
