Model 3 Trunk Leak After Rain

Tomorrow I bring my M3 in for the third time to have the leaking trunk looked at. First time, the seal was in 180º off and the latch got an ajustment. Second time was worse (a lot of water in the sub-trunk (the sound deadening material under the liner holds a lot of water)), and they did a "five...

Solar Panels on a Flat Roof

This looks so nice. Congrats. You must live in the south. That sky is such an unusual colour. I think you call it blue? Ha! Up here in Canada eh, we have to mount our panels at a ridiculous angle. My neighbour has a flat roof, and the installer (no Tesla installs up here yet) mounted at 49...

    New M3, what's included?

Sorry, my bad. Didn't mean to scare anyone. I meant USB phone charging cables. Not the car charging cable. It came with the 110V cable and the J1772 adaptor.

    New M3, what's included?

Yes, for example, in Canada, they stopped giving charging cables in April 2019. So some items may be market dependant.

Tesla Takes Tug-of-War With Ford to Twitter

Loading the Ford (if you used the 4WD version), is not handicapping, it is equalizing. If the test is to see which truck can output the largest net force, each truck needs the same weight over the drive wheels. Silly test really.

Tesla Takes Tug-of-War With Ford to Twitter

The model used for test drives at the reveal was the dual motor AWD. Likely this was the same one in the video, but who knows. To have a fair fight, the F150 would need to be in FWD, loaded to the same weight as the Tesla, same tires, etc.

Poor Model 3 Delivery Experience (photos + video inside)

Yes, in Canada, the USB cables stopped being included in April '19. Same for 14-50. The Model 3 does come with a J1772 adaptor.

    Phantom Drain Post Latest Update

I am experiencing up to 2 km of loss per hour after version 10. I have an external SSD drive plugged in, but Sentry is set to be off at home. I am trying to determine if the cooling weather is more to blame than the new software. I do not use any apps to monitor energy use (yet) as I am new to...

Poor Model 3 Delivery Experience (photos + video inside)

The suspense is killing me. Did you hear back khaltire? This is not good. So sorry. We just picked up our 3 last weekend in Vancouver. Great experience, and the car is (so far) flawless. The "delivery expert" said they are moving out 25 per day average, and as many as 100 in one day from that...

    Ceramic Coat on Pearl White

Just getting GTechniq Crystal Serum Ultra next week. I'll let you know. As TrooperCA said, the prep is crucial. All those steps with the wash to start using a decontamination soap. And after the paint correction polishing, a full wipe down with alcohol to remove any oils, etc. before the...

    Alternatives to oem floor mats

Do any of you have the Tesla branded "Model 3 All Weather Floor Liners"? Wondering how they compare to the Tuxmats? The Teslas are about $50 CND less.

    Favorite Floor Mats?

TuxMat must be Canadian. They show a Tim Horton's coffee being spilled onto the mat. #truecanuck
