A few have (even some orders later than mine). VIN assignment seems to be random, based on configuration (exterior paint, seats and tires) and not order dates or even region. I guess one thing to be grateful for is that VINS are finally happening so the rest of us should be hearing something...

That is exactly what I've been told. Once they start your build, your VIN is assigned at that time. How you are notified seems to be the variable: shows up in source, shows up on Tesla account or SA/DA contacts you for delivery. I'll take any of the three. My SA said that was their reason...

Custom orders for Porsche (and many others) can take 8-12 weeks. So, longer than Tesla.

The info I heard was that they were never meant to be bag hooks at all and were simply "screw covers". One service center even delayed delivery of a few vehicles at first because they thought the "frunk hooks" were missing. Maybe complaints (breakage from too many heavy shopping bags?) caused...

The problem with all the missing/changed parts is that there is no communication about what should/shouldn’t be included. Without an official announcement from Tesla (“we no longer supply frunk bag hooks”), we all have to assume what happened. The factory is on all-out production mode right now...

Got a text from Tampa SA today. My SR+ white/white/19” is being built on 11/14 and expected delivery is 11/21-23. No VIN of course - it isn’t built yet so... I will still check, though.
