There were about about 8-10 cars there charging.

I charged there at about noon on 5/31 and there was a survey crew working.

"Temporary Closure" for about an hour. luckily it opened up right as i waited in line at Buckeye with 70% charge and Ehrenburg showing LONG WAIT the prior hour.

Quartzsite is showing closed (at the end of xmas weekend)?? 😲

Nav showed 55 open at the time i arrived but only about half were on. Maybe 8 others cars charging. A couple Tesla guys were there working on the cabinets and told me the row I backed up to wasn't energized. (of two rows total, i believe)

There are going to be a lot of trailers coming through there. If Tesla pays for each individual parking spot, I'm guessing the lots owners don't (technically) want trailers sticking out past the stall? Aside from the "ADA access features", wouldn't it say in the permit application if any stalls...

I was there yesterday around 2pm and one of the rows of chargers was working. No paving was happening yet.

What about fog and heavy rain? Obviously one shouldn't rely on electronics to keep them safe when they can't see the car in front of them, but it does a great job and it seems like we will get a lot of "camera is blocked" errors? Currently I look at it as an added layer of safety.

Unfortunately this is not a post with any news about Visalia SC. Sorry to disappoint. Has anyone that travels by there seen any changes at this site?

That makes me wonder if they could do something like that electronically once each SC has wifi? If that's still happening?

agree re 140kw but by 25% it was down to 85kw.. tuesday at 4am i got up to 175 but indio's 32kw (checked 5 stalls) really slower me down, and 3 stalls not working.

1 stall broken, max charging so far 140kw w 18% battery when i got here. 3 cars waiting in line. I have been extremely unlucky on last couple roadtrips with broken and/or painfully slow charging rates at various SC's.

I never really noticed the heat until I recently plugging it in to my laptop. Every now and then since I've installed 40.2.1 (the worst update for my car so far) I get the "USB drive not fast enough"- even though it's a USB3.0. I was assuming it was this update, since others have had different...

I wonder if some places/companies that agree to have superchargers put in, and start to see the need for more, start playing hardball when tesla comes back asking to install more stalls?

I notice pretty severe ping-ponging with HW2.5 after the most recent update. In fact, I have turned off AP twice with cops behind me because I didn't want to appear drunk.

That was my thinking, too. I left it open, and it was going up and down 6,7,8,7,6. I have a feeling it'll be good to go by at least the end of the weekend.
