Things I Do Not Miss Thread

I like turning on the climate control when I'm in the supermarket lineup and it's minus thirty outside.

Amazing example of Tesla's ability to characterize obstacles

I always find it cool to note what the screen shows and doesn't show. I'm still waiting to see how Tesla deals with cattle on the road, or worse, a moose.

Seniors wishing the glovebox had a physical button to open

Well, I’m going to turn 80 next year and have found my Tesla a piece of cake. I try not to fiddle with stuff when I drive but if it’s absolutely necessary I put the car in auto steer first. Have to admit, although I‘ve had the car over a year I just discovered voice commands a couple of weeks ago.

    100% charge or 90 or 95?

You shouldn't charge above 90% routinely and if you have serious winter, there will be a range problem then because of the heater. Have her plug in to 110 V at work just to get a feel as to how much that improves her comfort level. (Fifty miles left is fine - I'd get twitchy with 25.) Be...

    Tesla Official Statement on Range

This is my first winter with my Model 3. I find the snowflake icon really useful for a number of reasons. Think of it as a heads up, be aware, signal. Thus far the car has performed well down to about minus twenty - no issues but the range loss leads to some anxiety on highway trips. Assume the...

    Supercharger - Regina, SK

Yeppers, I was going to try Saskatoon-Regina tomorrow with a stop in Davidson. Instead, I'll be on the bus.

    Western Canada Superchargers

I stopped at the Co-op at Davidson, Sask and was told the Supercharger should be activated December 20. Important for winter travel between Saskatoon and Regina. Don't think it can be done non-stop at temperatures below -10.
