    Supercharger - Alvarado, TX

Finally got to charge there (too close to home). Good location, nice food court. That's how every charger should be.

    Supercharger - Abbott, TX

Stopped yesterday just to try it. Nice travel center. Great addition along I-35.

    Supercharger - Abbott, TX

Not sure what Tesla's criteria are, but they keep showing lack of understanding of Texas. Both Hillsborough and West (in the Slovacec's lot!) would have been better choices. But I will take Abbott compared to no Abbott.

    Supercharger - Hutto, TX

Tesla is already directing us to go around Austin when traveling on I-35 (e.g. DFW to San Antonio or back), based on a recent trip. This will be the icing on the cake. P.S. The I-35 supercharger in Austin is one of the worst locations in all of the supercharger network. Whoever put it there...

    Supercharger - Johnson City, TX

I'd put it in Hico before Lampasas. One day there will be one in each of them.

    SC In Tyler

Excellent! Charged twice on a recent trip, initial speeds of over 500 m/hr. Collin Street Bakery is a gem, not just for the free coffee. My second visit was on a Sunday night and the bakery was closed, but a short walk to the nearby gas station was easy for a few refreshments/restroom.

    Supercharger - Waco, TX

Just charged at 940m per hour at 22% state of charge. 230 kw. Just wow.

If there was a 100 mile range upgrade what would you be willing to pay?

Your Prius can travel at 80-85 mph? News!

    Help me decide: 2017 Model S 75D (or 90D) vs 2018 Model 3 performance

Short answer, 3 performance. Obvious point, but what prices are you considering for the two choices? (It may make a huge difference, including considering a new Model 3 performance or stealth, instead of used).

1,200 Mile Road Trip to Houston, TX - Am I Crazy?

Not crazy, do it! The route is well covered by superchargers, and quite scenic (by my taste).

    Fort Worth to Fredericksburg

Did you make it straight from Ft. Worth to Fredericksburg via Glen Rose? That is my traditional way of getting there, but have not tried it in an EV. How fast did you drive, what was your state of charge at arrival?

    Fort Worth to Fredericksburg

How did you get to Fredericksburg/back to Dallas? What route did you take?

What is more damaging to the battery?

Thanks for all who responded! Still learning the nuances of a road trip. Charged to 100% at home. Charged at a very fast (128 kw) supercharger, as well as very slow one (30 kw); charged overnight at a hotel destination charge, not necessarily in that order. In all cases, I felt very confident...

What is more damaging to the battery?

You won't. If you start with 10% less, you'll supercharge eventually 10% more, at some lower state of charge, if you need to cover a distance equal or greater than battery capacity.

What is more damaging to the battery?

I am going on a road trip and am wondering, which one is more damaging to the battery -- slow charging to 100% at home, or slow charging only to 90% but then supercharging extra 10% than otherwise? I understand that both charging to 100% as well as supercharging have negative effects on battery...

    Fort Worth Service Center

Drove by it today. There were several trucks and workers. A worker was painting a door, and others were working on landscaping. No idea what it means. I hope it means that it will open at some point.

Need an opinion: AWD or Full Self-Driving Capability

New owner, first time poster here. I was in the same situation, and chose the Performance Stealth. As others stated, you can always add the full navigation later. Further, depending on your driving habits, you may or may not use it much, relative to the included auto pilot. With dual motor, you...
