Touch screen control for wipers is dangerous

I love just about everything about my TM3. But really this mad auto wiper and the horrible manual control is just plain dangerous. I live in a place with a LOT of rain and snow and it just do not work as it should. Far worse than my 2011 Nissan Qashqai. I hope Tesla takes this seriously. When...

Wow, we need to find another way to heat EVs

In cold temperatures it seems that the car is more efficient if you manual control the climate. Turn off AC, not needed as cold=dry. And reduce the fan to 1 or 2. Seated heats as you like. I have mine on the lowest setting. Try it, you might be surprised :)

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

"Was it worth it ?" I think most of this is about difference. LR AWD owners ( I am in that category) want to get down to P times. And some are willing to put down $2k to split the difference in half. P owner are "jealous" and want Ludicrous modes to shorten the difference to S100D. The fact is...

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

conv90: It is available in Norway. Are you sure you are checking in the right place ? I can not see it on my phone app, but it is on my page on the Tesla account in a web browser. Under "updates" together with FSD.

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

It is very interesting that Julien does not feel a substantial difference. But his figures are strange too so I am not sure what is going on. Hope you will update or meet with another AWD or AWD+ owner and try neck to neck. 0.5s difference should be noticed unless you fly F-14's on a hangar ship...

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

If there was a physical difference between the P and AWD model rear motor/inverters I find it strange that Tesla does not communicate this clearly. I guess they are close to equal. Tesla even put unplugged heated seats in the SR+ to save money on assembly. Why should they act differently on the...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I dont get it. In a 1/4 mile the AWD+ is supposedly less than 0.5s away from the P ? Makes no sense to me. It would mean that it is actually marginally faster at some range if I understand this correctly. I doubt that. I have an AWD coming up the 30th and might go for this as I wandered between...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I hope to see some before/after videos soon. Have not found any on YT. If any of you are about to push the button, please first do a stretch before the update and the same after. You will get a lot of hits..

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

My guess is that Tesla will add new gradual power boosts later on to those who get this update. Makes no sense they give away everything now. And this will ensure that the feature gets attention longer and get more people to buy it.
