I did not, I just asked broadly about HW3 retrofit and got the broad answer back of "schedule your appointment, if we deny it try again for a week later". Granted its not optimal, but at least its a path forward in lieu of a public notice.
Portsmouth, NH checking in. Picked up my 2019 Model 3 SR+ back in June of this year. Looking forward to HW3 retrofit coming soon. Boston SC said they're doing S and X now, estimating starting 3s by end of winter!
Attention HW2.X owners: I just got off the phone with my local service center (Boston) and they are now doing retrofits on S and X, estimated that they will start doing 3s near the end of winter. I was told to submit a service request for the retrofit and they will approve or deny. If denied...
Update: I called again and spoke to a more knowledgeable tech who told me I actually do have HW2.5. Of course there's no estimate on retrofit start date yet, but they recommended I call the local service center since they would have more up to date info. I know Elon said the retrofits would...
Thanks for the info, @verygreen. I was going off of date and the tech on the phone who told me I have HW3. I do believe I read an Elon tweet saying all new builds after March/April would have HW3 if you got FSD at purchase time, but maybe I'm wrong on that. Oddly enough to your point about...
I don't know how else to make this clear. The toggle is not present. Does not exist. Is not visible in the menu options. Tesla support is looking into it, but based on the fact that it isn't in my patch notes and that no one else who has HW3 is having the problem, it looks like they have given...
What does that even mean? I bought a late May build and bought with FSD at time of purchase which means I got HW3. Tesla tech said I had HW3, so I should have HW3 unless they made a mistake.
Turned off sentry for a few hours, did full power off, still nothing. The fact that its not in my patch notes makes me think the tech had it wrong and I do have HW 2.5. I really hope that's not the case as I really don't want to drive an hour + to the nearest service center just to get what I...
As I said in my post: "However, the visualizations option is not in the menu"
To clarify: When I go into autopilot menu there is no new option to enable.
I have a model 3 SR+ built late May with FSD at time of purchase. Was told I have HW3 at that time. I just got off the phone with Tesla and the tech confirmed for me I have HW3 and FSD. I got the new update and everything is working including Stardew Valley and the text to speech features...
