it was not hard at all. I have not installed the DYI harness but routing the Version F harness should be quite similar, you still need to pull off the interior trim, that is the hardest part. Then connecting the harness is simple plug&play. Mounting the sub was easy too, just one nut was missing...

@strattao - I just did the version F Hansshow kit install myself and like your '19 car my '20 SR+ also still has the shelf speakers. If the price of Version F is in your budget I can fully recommend this approach. I am no expert at audio installs so mucking about with modifying harnesses...

... same here, I am actually quite happy with how it sounds and the subwoofer remote sure is very useful in dialing it in.

@Brendwal - did you go into the software for the DSP to adjust the settings? I have not gone there yet ... I assume you adjust the segments much like on an equalizer?

Hi, I wanted to add my 2c to the discussion without reading all 64 pages :-) I just finished the Hansshow Version F install on my '20 SR+ (with existing deck speakers) - the installation is really not hard to do - the whole wiring look is well done, the upgraded subwoofer housing s fantastic...

darn it... I have ordered the Jeda hub weeks ago and still have not received mine. And now I am extra annoyed that I paid 4 times as much... so tell me more, some of you stated that the Jeda hub is unreliable? At $100 that would be unacceptable. I guess I'll have to see if I can cancel my order...

just to revive this: My December 2019 MY20 SR+ did leak blue battery coolant fluid, as confirmed by the SC. They replaced a coolant line and I will pick the car up tomorrow. This happened on day 3 of my ownership and about 300 miles in... So all jokes in other threads aside, Tesla's can leak...
