    Supercharger - Greenville, SC

I stopped here a few weeks ago and regretted it the moment I got to that horrible exit onto that congested road. What the heck is going on over there? It took me a half hour to turn. I will never stop here again. Another location is really needed between greenville and charlotte. I wanted to...

Help - I don’t accept this car - Tesla won’t take it back

If you ordered the car and paid cash for it what did you think was going to happen when they delivered it? This is really weird. Sounds like a case of buyers remorse to me.

I need closure to this story! Hopefully he updates!

    CCS1 from TESPLUS

I just ordered the official one from Tesla yay! I’ll just Ebay my China made one at some point unless I decide to buy a second Tesla…

Why are the service centers so busy?

I had great experiences with mobile service. They came out 3 times when I had my model 3. The last time I needed the 12v replaced and they came the next day and were done in 10 mins.

Charging Goes from 32A to 16A

My outlet doesn’t seem to get hot. So last night I positioned the mobile connector so it wasn’t hanging with just the plug supporting it and it charged at 32 amps constant. It was also 75 degrees outside at night so much cooler than it has been. Later this week I’m going to try my other...

    CCS Adapter - ?

I got one of the China CCS adapters and tried it out. It worked great! I’m just using for a backup so having it capped at 150kw is fine with me.

Nightmare Experience! Only 500 miles driven...

I have no idea if this is technically possible, but why can’t they have an option to disable the rear drive if it goes out? Then use the front drive to at least drive it to be repaired.

Nightmare Experience! Only 500 miles driven...

I know when I used to have AAA it took forever for somebody to come when I had car trouble. So Tesla roadside is just calling somebody then like AAA does?

Nightmare Experience! Only 500 miles driven...

I never used their roadside service so I can’t really say if that was a normal experience. Obviously, that was horrible to have to deal with. For me, I would have most likely just called a tow truck myself to get it out of the way then worry about getting it to the service center if Tesla wasn’t...

Nightmare Experience! Only 500 miles driven...

That really sucks! Was it in drive when this happened and wouldn’t move? Did you try and reset? Sometimes that will fix things by holding both scroll buttons until the screen reboots. Somebody should have got back to you at least for troubleshooting since it was blocking the drive thru.

CCS - buy now or wait?

I wonder if Tesla US doesn’t want to offer the adapter here since there’s a lot of unsupported cars? They might not want to deal with an influx of retrofit my car requests.

Charging Goes from 32A to 16A

Both outlets are hubbell. And its done it with 2 different cars. I’ve just lowered to 16 amps now and stopped trying to charge at 32. I wonder if something in Teslas software has changed? It was fine for 3 years. But maybe it was too hot before but the software is more sensitive now than it...

Would you pay 4k for Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control and Navigate on City Streets?

I had FSD in my Model 3 and never used it. It flat out scared me most of the time. I would try it out for a bit whenever a new update came and then stop using it. You have to have the patience of a saint to deal with it. I traded for a Model Y and didn’t get it and don’t miss it at all. I feel...

Charging Goes from 32A to 16A

I’ve been having the same problem for about a year at my house with my Model 3. I have a Nema 14-50 outlet outside and it was fine for about 3 years and this started. I switched out the mobile connector, switch out the outlet with a new one, still the same. I traded my Model 3 for a Model Y and...

    Why I cancelled my order

I’m happy with my Y but I don’t inspect my cars that close. I was happy with my Model 3. Never found a reason to inspect it. I was too busy driving.

    CCS Adapter - ?

I would like the official one just as a backup but no way am I giving out my Tesla log in information to a 3rd party. That seems like a really bad idea.

New vehicle delivery with Mobile connector?

I reserved the Model Y in January and took delivery last week. Mine was from Austin and it has the mobile connector, the 5-15 adapter, and the j1772. I didn’t get a 14-50 with it.

Austin built MY LR quick review

I just got an Austin long range Y last week and my driver door seems hard to close sometimes too. I‘m hoping it gets better with more use. Other doors seem fine. I traded my 2018 Model 3 for the 2022 Y and I really like the improvements Tesla made. I wish they would just ditch that fake wood...

    Powerwall Software 1.46

I tested out the new option by cutting the grid while the car was charging. I set the percentage at 95. Once it went under 95 the car slowed charging and eventually stopped. Once I cut the grid back on the car started charging again on it’s own. Very nifty! Only option I would like would be to...

    Powerwall Software 1.46

My Powerwalls finally updated about 2 days ago. The control option just appeared in the app tonight.

    Wish I could get 1.46.0. Still on 1.45.2 :(

    Powerwall Software 1.46

Yeah this would be a great idea! Someone needs to use Twitter to ask Elon! I still don’t have 1.46 yet on my Powerwalls. I wonder how long it takes for new firmware?

2xPowerwall whole house backup - HVAC sure start problem

I contacted Tesla about removing my AC from battery backup. They said they would and sent a tech out. He ended up putting a sure start on the AC instead of taking it off the backup. He claims that the way the house was built means there’s no way to remove it. I’m not sure if that is true or if...

2xPowerwall whole house backup - HVAC sure start problem

This sounds perfect! How does the relay know that they power is out and the Powerwalls are on? Do you know where I can get this relay from?

2xPowerwall whole house backup - HVAC sure start problem

Oh this sounds pretty good! Okay so I could keep the AC unit in the main panel and also have another panel too? So I could have the breakers off on the main panel at all times in case the power goes out? But the second panel could be on all the time to run only when the grid is working? One...

2xPowerwall whole house backup - HVAC sure start problem

I have 3 powerwall 2s and when my AC tries to turn on while the grid is out the powerwalls will shut off and the power goes out. The AC continues to try and start but can’t. Lights flicker on and off. I’m afraid this will damage something if im not home and the powerwalls are on. I was told 3...

MASTER THREAD: 2019.40.50.x - Driving Visualization improvements, new voice commands, Camping Mode

Voice commands on 50.5 are still spotty. Sometimes they work and sometimes nothing. I can’t really use the text messaging feature either since the mic won’t pick up my reply.
