MCU died out of warranty. Heres info on my experience
Recently there was an interesting post on this subject in dutch newsletter. The MCU is very bad designed, it can only handle about 3000 rewrites, than it often fails. there is in the Netherlands a guy who can fix this, and replaces the MCU than can run over 25.000 rewrites. total costs...- JV - S2013 dec

Maximum battery charge level reduced
i think 2019.40.2.6 the replaced the battery. the battery could only charge up to 285 km, first they said it all had to get stable etc. after 2 weeks still no progress. they ended up changing the battery again… you only get a refurbished battery instead of a new one, and the warrenty...- JV - S2013 dec

Maximum battery charge level reduced
Had the same warning "batterij charging level reduced" yesterday. it only charges now to about 135km. Model S 85 dec2013 Had to charge twice today on a smaller trip to get home. will update here what the problem is, and how fast/slow Tesla will help me after i call tomorrow- JV - S2013 dec
