@BlueShift @Chuq @MarcoRP The Tesla Club of Arkansas has had a few members confirm that all the "coming soon" bags are off the chargers and both the Tesla App and Car Navigation is reporting this location is now officially open.

Just following up; reports that charging at the Lowell location is back to normal.

It appears there is a white box added there, but its still hard to see if the green power transformer and power meter have been put into place yet. Presumably it would be on the same pad as the white box on the far right of the last picture.

Reviewing some of the details on my photos and the google maps of the area, it doesn't appear that the power transformer for this supercharger is in place yet or even on site. That would mean it hasn't even been powered on yet.

Drove by the Van Buren supercharger and took some pictures for a better view. It appears that construction is complete, but not in service. Looks like 6 total spots. 4 of them are next to each other, and 2 others look like you would park on the other side perhaps in the middle of some normal...

The main reason is probably because of I49. People coming from the west (OK) need to charge before going north on I49 and people coming from the east (LR) also need to charge before going north. I49 has about 1000 feet of altitude change. Even with a AWD LR Model 3 with 99% charge from LR, I...

The 3 to 4 week estimate is pretty spot on. The Lowell Supercharger was discovered Jan 29th 2020 in a similar state and was operational by Feb 22nd. So its possible for it to be up and running in 20 to 30 days. There are many things that can go wrong between the Electrical grid connections...

Interesting. I did some research and the Telsa PowerPack (the large scale energy storage product) has 12 battery modules in them, but that's typically a separate box and not generally part of a supercharger installation. I have actually seen inside the V3 cabinets in Lowell and verified from...

Good news. It looks that Tesla's real-time status information is working. As of today not only its it showing in the car and the Tesla app, but it seems like all 8 stalls are online. At the very least, you'll have some warning if it up or down from the Tesla status.

One note of caution; in our local facebook page, it was noted later on Friday evening (Sept 4th) that the supercharger was not online. They did try all 8 stalls. It will probably be up and down until Tesla officially announces it as open. If you are traveling, be sure to have a back up plan.

I have yet to find any online resources in Arkansas for permits. I think everything is still handled on paper exclusively.

I'm in one of those states that charge $200 for my model 3 o_O. Technically, you could be charged per mile since all EVs know what state they are in and how many miles they have gone.

Any ideas if there any reason for that pattern or average ETA's to open?

Lowell got a shout out as a new Supercharger on the "Now You Know" youtube show with Zac and Jesse!

I talked with the Tesla installer. He drove from Memphis in a Model S and was hinting strongly with the people he was talking to at Tesla that more are needed on I40, but he doesn't have any direct control or knowledge about any new installation beyond the one they gave him here.

Hearing good things that this may be coming online now. We've had at least one report of charging happening.

Well, that's not something I think anyone is going to be able to answer other than those that parked the trucks. I figure its just being oblivious that those spots of any different than they used to be rather anything deliberately malicious.

I don't know if this bodes well for this location, but when I checked it on Sunday, it already had two spots ICE'ed with huge pickup trucks. And yes, its not online yet. The owner of this location might have to put out cones to train people.

Perhaps the stickers are from v2 chargers and just haven't been updated to reflect v3 power rates.

500VDC at 350Amp. I never noticed those labels before. Wow. My calculations indicates that's 175KW I wonder where the 250KW comes from.

Some of us tend to drive by and check every couple of days for you. We're all kind of excited about having this Supercharger in our backyard.

Also checked it out today. All the boxes appear to be installed and the power meter is live. miles267 is right, the cables are really short -- you have to back up nearly to your rear tires meeting with the parking stops. I also tried the button on the cables, but it did not trigger my car...

Update for the site. Looks like they finished the charging stations themselves and got two of the cabinets installed. There appears to be spots for two more cabinets that aren't there yet plus a power meter not yet installed.
