    Bumped a curb

Where the bumper meets the underbody protector I cannot tell if it’s “opened” more. It rides just fine but I’m wondering about car washes and ppf. I don’t know if I could get ppf with the scratches currently. What do you think?

    Bumped a curb

The little push pin I am having some difficulty getting it back in. Is there a trick to this or is it safe to drive without one pin until a mobile tech can come?

    Bumped a curb

Hello, Just accidentally scraped a curb. It sucks. Would there be anything I need to look for for structural damage? I’m not too worried about the cosmetic. What is right behind the bumper? Just want to make sure it’s safe to drive. Thanks.

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

I don’t think any of them do anything inside the garages ever. They are standalone with poor lighting. I’ve never seen anyone doing anything besides parking and leaving their car. I think the apartment company makes it hard to use the electricity based off where they place the socket. It’s all...

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

I will mention the screws. I’m not too sure what the power meter looks like. I can snoop around. I know right below the box on the ground there is another thing that looks like a panel built in the ground. I’m guess right now it’s covered in snow. Or would it be a green box above ground just...

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

Thanks! That seems like my best option. I will try to get a better picture but it just snowed quite a bit. I will try to learn this so when I talk to the electrician I can explain. And hopefully they don’t try to charge too much since it is commercial. 20a would be fine with me but if I can do...

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

Yeah I’m not 100% what everything goes to. Maybe when the electrician comes he might know. I didn’t look at any other garage units to see if they have similar panels. There is only one outlet in my garage. I’m not sure if each breaker is to each garage or anything like that. I don’t know if...

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

The attic is basically unfinished. Just a tall ceiling. It’s on the back of the garage 1 and I’m 3rd garage. So it is two garage widths away. Roughly 20 feet.

Getting an upgraded charging at apartment

Hello! I have been cleared to charge by my apartment company in my garage. I tested with a friends model 3 and get 4mph with standard outlet. The apartment company stated that I could get an upgraded outlet from an approved electrician. I have put some calls into them. My garage is detached...

Winter driving advice, winter tire choices, etc.

I’m in colorado and we have occasional snow fall but it normally melts within a day. Anyone live out here that doesn’t use snow tires or could recommend a better all weather tire than the stock 18 inch Aeros? I’m getting the m3 by the end of March.

Charging in detached garage at apartment

Thanks. Spoke with maintenance today. He is gonna see about getting me a dedicated 15-20 amp line that wouldn’t cost too much. I would have to pay all the costs. I wouldn’t mind trying it even on the regular wall socket and upgrade if I need to. I told them to check into a 6-20 as well

Charging in detached garage at apartment

Thanks for all the feedback. I am going to ask them today how much it would be for the various upgrades. I’m guessing that they will have to ask upper management since it is kind of chain apartments. I will report back once I talk to them. I know they told me that I would need to pay for...

Charging in detached garage at apartment

Hey guys, I live in an apartment and my garage is detached. There are 5 garage units and it’s a free standing building. I have one regular outlet above my garage door opener. I am planning on using the included regular charger that get around 4 miles per hour of charge. This would be fine for...
