2014 Model S speaker mod with existing hardware

The driver side speaker started rattling, so I decided to replace it. I didn’t want to go with the same because I feel like it would also go bad. I saw someone me else do a mod where the did something similar, but it looked like they used glue to mount to existing mold. I wanted to see if I...

Model S front trunk storage nets installed

Bought a kit of storage nets for the front trunk, one set just hung on existing mounting point. The other two , side nets, had sheet metal screws which I believe were meant to go thru the Tub. I didn’t want to do that cause if ever the front tub needs be removed it would be a hassle. Bought #6...

    Model s door handle fix

2014 Model S door handle pressure sensor. There was corrosion inside and had trouble measuring values. The resistors read well once I scrapped some of the gunk off and removed the capacitor. Now the door handle opens once again, yay!

Wiki Consolidated eMMC Thread (MCU repair) (Black Center Screen)

So if this is done before failure then nothing is lost? Is the car still able to receive updates? Does anything change when doing preventative?

Holy crap man, that sucks. I don’t know about your situation but my car won’t charge so I’m in a bit of a tough spot because I don’t want the battery to fail due to no charge. I just dropped of my car at the SC and they said they will have one in 5 days. I wanted to wait but once I drove there I...

Whelp, I’m here cause my screen is black with no functionality. 2014 Model S 85 167k miles. I’ve tried everything I can, short of unplugging 12v and removing fuse. So is this solution to remove screen and send somewhere?

    Cabin charging

My model is gets about 2 mil/hr charge when plugged into the 115v outlets. Lucky for me this cabin had the kitchen at the front of the house. I was able to plug into the stove outlet, now I’m able to fully charge over night.
