I just sent a message asking for an update because my battery was running down and within 5 minutes I had a reply inviting me to drop my car off at Chester SC and pick up a loaner. Arrived at 2.20pm and left less than 10 minutes later in a loaner. Very efficient.

The same CEO probably made the 25% EV target by the end of 2024, which has now been abandoned. It’s impossible to say the 2030 target is guaranteed, and given that EV adoption seems to be slowing I’m very sceptical it will happen. Only time will tell.

As I said in my original post the title is the BBC headline. People can explore the news behind the headline to get the full story if they are sufficiently interested. What is clear is that BYD sold more BEVs than Tesla in Q4, and they’re going to sell a LOT more than Tesla in 2024.

The news report only referred to the last quarter not the whole year so it is correct. There’s no doubt BYD will exceed Tesla sales in 2024.

That is exactly my experience and it’s getting worse. While I never expected Level 4 autonomy anytime soon I did think there would be steady, incremental progress over the years. I didn’t for one second imagine that after four years of ownership FSD would actually be worse. So much for “progress”.

Yes, I agree about not blocking 2 bays, but apart from that V4 seems all about encouraging non Teslas to use them. Which is anything but an advantage for Tesla owners.
